Founded in 2000, Rainier Asphalt & Concrete is a leading pavement contractor in the Puget Sound region. We provide various services, including: hot mix asphalt patching and paving, asphalt seal coating, striping, curbing, concrete flat work, crack filling, drainage and traffic control. We employ approximately 75 people and have offices in North Bend and Tacoma. The company is operational and busy year-round, and is much less seasonal than many competitors in this industry.
Summary of Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced striping and pavement marking foreman who is skilled at planning, coordinating and managing crews and communicating with customers and inspectors. Our workload includes striping parking lots and roadways either as re-stripe or after seal coating or paving, torch-down thermoplastic, buttons and reflectors, signs and various other items. The successful applicant will have experience with the means and methods necessary for the aforementioned items, and in particular, a great attention to detail regarding final appearance. The striping crews will also occasionally perform other related pavement services (especially outside of peak season), including curbing, precast wheel stop installation, crack filling, seal coating, etc.

This position has a wage range of $20-$30/hour depending on experience.
