Concrete need no longer be plain, grey and boring. It is now thought of as a beautiful decorative element. The advancements in concrete tools, stains, dyes, textures and patterns have made concrete the most versatile, durable and cost-effective material on the market.
Through our network of suppliers, we can create a wide range of stamp designs and colors. Utilizing concrete forms in different ways also allows us versatility. For example, two different types of concrete mix with a stamped border provide a very classy finished product.
When creating decorative concrete surfaces, it's important to remember that all the elements of quality concrete construction still hold true. You want your finished product to look beautiful, but it's also important that it's put together well structurally and that it'll last. Therefore, the sub-base should be leveled and compacted. The concrete mix should be the requisite thickness (4" for most applications but thicker for heavy traffic). For some applications, we will place wire meshing or rebar pins for enhanced structural stability.
